The water content of finished granular material is not the lower the better. It is reasonable to keep 12-13% moisture content of granular products in general area, which is beneficial to preservation without affecting the product yield and animal feeding at the same time.


The return powder of grading sieve is mainly due to poor conditioning effect, formula or ring die, which results in inadequate particle hardness and serious pulverization. Reasonable die-roll clearance has a direct impact on production efficiency, particle hardness, ring die and roller wear. Excessive tightness, large output, loose particles, not easy to block, fast wear; too loose, small output, hard particles, easy to block machine; die roll clearance to no residue in the pressing chamber when no load, pressing roll seems to turn non-suitable for a slight metal impact sound.

The reasons of ring die rupture include the material quality, high opening rate and insufficient thickness, which lead to insufficient strength, excessive wear and tear, and excessive instantaneous impact force caused by foreign body entering the pressing chamber. The reasons for frequent bolt breakage in the installation of ring die with conical surface are insufficient friction caused by wear on the contact surface of wear-resistant ring at the installation position, which makes the bolt bear shear force; insufficient friction caused by inconsistency between the conical surface of new ring die and the wear-resistant ring surface of machine, which makes the bolt bear shear force; and insufficient strength of newly purchased bolts.


Is the more water added, the better? How much is added depends on the moisture content of raw materials, not arbitrary, and must be added under the guidance of the Ministry of Technology. Steam pressure is between 0.25 MPa and 0.30 MPa, but the steam pressure before the relief valve is usually no less than 0.6 MPa, because the granulator needs saturated steam for conditioning. The pressure after decompression depends on the formulation, not on the random formulation.


Condensate water in steam system must be discharged, especially when it is just started, otherwise it will be easily blocked. Different formulations have their own characteristics. Adding steam at the same pressure and temperature will cause unnecessary troubles, such as loss of nutrient components, unsafe particle quality, serious plugging die, low productivity and so on. So we must change the amount of steam according to the formula.


Small granulator noise, not only affect the efficiency of work, but also damage the operator's hearing, so it is necessary to know how to reduce the noise of small granulator work. There may be some bearing problems in the granulator, which may cause abnormal operation of the machine and fluctuation of working current. The working current is on the high side. The ring die is blocked or only part of the die hole is discharged. When foreign body enters the ring die, the ring die loses its circle, the gap between the roller and the die is too tight, and the roller wear or the roller bearing damage can not rotate, the vibration of the granulator will occur. The coupling corrects unbalance, deviation between high and low, vibration of granulating opportunity, and oil seal of gear shaft is easy to be damaged.


If the spindle is not tightened, especially for the D or E type machine, the loosening of the spindle will cause the axial front and back movement, the roll oscillation is obvious, the noise of the granulator is large, and the granulation is difficult. Large and small gear wear, or replacement of a single gear, will also produce noise. The uneven discharge at the outlet and outlet of the conditioner will cause great fluctuation of the working current of the granulator. When using the new ring die, new rollers must be prepared, and a certain proportion of sand chaff must be used for grinding and polishing. The tail of the regulator is not fixed or fixed tightly, resulting in shaking.
